EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Meredith (Max) Hodges (Executive Director) is a graduate of both Harvard University (BA in Social Anthropology, with honors) and Harvard Business School (MBA, with honors). She brings to Gallim Dance a wide range of experience that has combined both the not-for-profit arts and the for-profit management industries.

As Project Director with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Hodges led strategic projects for the External Affairs department, which included the implementation of a cloud-based donor and member management system. Prior to her position as Project Director, she was the Senior Manager of Finance & Planning for MoMA, responsible for the financial oversight of MoMA’s $150 million operating budget. Before moving into the nonprofit arts realm, Hodges worked as a Senior Associate Consultant with Bain & Company, consulting for a variety of clients from different industries on strategic solutions and growth strategies.

Additionally, she has acted in an advisory role for several organizations, including assisting the Morphoses dance company in its strategic redesign and providing guidance to senior staff on the marketing plan for the American Repertory Theater’s 2011 season. In 2009, Hodges was awarded a fellowship position working with the Executive Director of The Public Theater/Shakespeare in the Park.
